Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Recorded in the history of the Korean people's anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle is the Xiaohaerbaling conference which served as an important occasion in achieving the historic cause of national liberation. The Xiaohaerbaling conference is a historic meeting that decided to change the strategic line at a new turning point of the revolution, like the Mingyuegou conference in December 1931 and the Nanhutou conference in February 1936 that set forth important strategic lines for the armed struggle against the Japanese. To mark the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese imperialist colonial rule, an online seminar titled “President KIM IL SUNG and self-reliance “ was organised by the European Regional Committee For Friendship with the Korean People and hosted by the Korean Friendship Association of the UK . The seminar was held via Telegram at 1500 hours BST .
